The Centerkontura Company publishes books, periodicals, textbooks and other education related literature. Its main focus is publishing of expertise literature in the field of training end employing the disabled and work for and with the special needs children and adults.

The company has prepared several manuals, collections, textbooks and student workbooks for schools dealing with special needs children.

Together with the Special Education Association of Slovenia the company publishes and issues the specialized scientific and expertise magazine Defectologica Slovenica, and in cooperation with Slovenian Association of Vocational Training Organizations and the Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Education at University of Ljubljana.

The magazine represents theoretical articles, practice, suggestions and answers regarding the development in the educational and training of persons with special needs in Slovenia. For over than ten years the magazine has been following the transition from segregate to integrative concept of educating children with special needs. An annual volume consists of three issues of the magazine Defectologica Slovenica.

The Publishing house Centerkontura and Institute of Occupational Safety issue and publish together the magazine Work and Safety. The magazine is issued bimonthly (in February, April, June, August, October and December) and has got a fifty-year tradition.

The magazine discusses safety and health at work, with focusing on healthy and easy employing people as well as people with lesser employment opportunities, i.e. the disabled and elderly, and at the same time we pay attention to up-to-date problems, i.e. employing the young, women and other groups of people with lesser opportunities. Different fields Experts are introducing the legislation news, various precautions at work, answering questions by the readers, announcing the events. To variegate the magazine there are also interviews with well-known people, as ministers and various managing figures of divers companies.
